Plantation Golf Club opened for play in 1988. The course was designed by Richard Ellis.
An extensive renovation project was completed in the summer of 2003 to the greens, bunkers, and clubhouse. Also, the front and back nines were reversed back to their original design to allow golfers play at a smoother pace. The Plantation Golf Club is open for public play.
#9, a 388-yard, par 4, is the signature hole requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway.

Always in good condition... Greens are smooth, but hard to hold shots. Best play to these greens is to land short and roll to the hole. Don't fire at the flag.

Rankings are based on the time of year, early February, and an unseasonably excellent weather day. Course was in good shape. They are letting too many kids, and adults, walk around course areas such as ponds, cart paths, where an errant shot might strike someone. If they get that under control this course is starting raise the ante on customer service. Sadly, there was no cart service on this warm, early spring day. I'll play here again, and again.

1pm special is fantastic!!! This course has lots of water. It's not very long and is very well kept. It is the closest course to my house, and I play it a lot.
